Founded in 1991 as a group of companies, Emin Üstün Holding own a strong corporate structure and a dynamic service approach.

The company, which includes Eminevim, is operating in the vehicle and housing markets with an interest-free financing model Collaboration System. The company started first by offering an interest-free financing model to those who could not afford to own a car, then in 2005, it started to provide this same financing model to those who want to buy a house.

Emin Üstün Holding IT Systems Infrastructure and Operations Manager, Mr. Erhan Algan explains the critical business processes and IT strategies at Eminevim as follows:

“CRM occupies a very critical status in our organization, as there is intense end-user service in business processes.

We offer services with our custom-developed software and our developers’ team that ensures the smooth operation of our software. We implemented the project of transition to SAP infrastructure, the leading enterprise business software provider in the sector, which started at the end of 2020 and successfully concluded at the beginning of 2021. Thus, we provided the infrastructure that is extremely critical for us and that our institution needs. On the infrastructure side, we aim to keep our critical business processes online and to maintain customer satisfaction high in our end-user services by keeping a close watch on technology and constantly updating with value-added solutions. Uninterrupted and redundant operations are very critical for our structure. As in other financial institutions, possible cuts cause serious financial losses. Therefore, our basic IT infrastructure expectations are to not experience any interruptions and to provide uninterrupted 24/7 service to our customers.”

Erhan Algan explains the business goals achieved by the project as follow: “The HPE SimpliVity XL solution provided us with ease of management in the first place. We took full advantage of the technological benefits offered by 3 HPE SimpliVity XL, which we positioned in our centers. We can switch in seconds between data centers in our central buildings or between our disaster centers.

Managing, backing up, and updating hundreds of virtual machines through a single interface has dramatically reduced our workloads. The HPE SimpliVity infrastructure has provided us with added value in terms of performance enhancement and flexibility. There was a significant reduction in backup times. We also saved capacity in the storage structure. Savings in data size is among the essential advantages of the solution for us.

The new solutions achieved a space savings of 60 terabytes in 6 petabytes of data space, to attain a significant efficiency with a compression ratio of 1:288.

We used to backup every 24 hours. With the new solution, we can backup every 15 minutes.

While we were able to back up in 6 hours with the old technology, now we can back up two terabytes of data in 15 seconds.”

 

Erhan Algan explains the reasons behind choosing HPE: “We were satisfied with the service quality in our previous works with HPE. In addition, we have seen that the HPE SimpliVity solution has advantages over its competitors in the hyper-converged architectures market, in the successful case studies (POC) we conducted with our solution partner ITserv Technology.
