Mengerler Ticaret T.A.Ş. that offers the high segment brands in the automotive sector to the Turkish market realised a new project with ITserv Technology to renew the hardware and software technologies in the IT infrastructure, offer faster services to business partners and customers, create a safe infrastructure, increase the speed and capacity of the back-up system and to create a Disaster Recovery Centre (DRC).
ITserv Technology preferred HPE Simplivity HCI solution since it is a stable and high-performance infrastructure for PoC work and HPE Simplivity that offers significant advantages for DRC scenario, “Backup” and “Backup Copy” solution, as well as HPE StoreOnce NAS solution, is positioned for hosting backup data necessary for long-term archiving. The existing physical server infrastructure is consolidated in the HPE Simplivity HCI platform and provided significant advantages for central management.
In addition to Cluster architecture configured in the central system room, a business continuity platform is created for the DRC scenario in the system room in Ankara. A design that will host the copy of the backup data in the SimpliVity cluster environment in the central system room in the SimpliVity platform in the Ankara network proportional to RPO/RTO duration is delivered to Mengerler. Mengerler obtained a system infrastructure with single-point central management, high accessibility, business continuity and data protection and a system infrastructure that promises significant improvements in general server service SLA durations.

The backup duration which was 4-6 hours before is decreased up to 10 seconds. Additionally, the Disaster Recovery Centre provided a structure that highlights system security and business continuity.
