ITserv Technology has actualized a project for the Bilfen Group of Companies with existing infrastructure more than 6400 computers, more than 150 servers, and a network of more than 100 locations, where they can meet the needs of day-to-day processing, data storage, backup, business continuity and disaster recovery with full backup, efficient and high performance.
As a solution partner of Bilfen since 2014, ITserv Technology has made traditional architectural comparisons with HPE SimpliVity hyper-integrated solutions and identified products that maintain performance and efficiency at a high level, provide consolidated management, simple, scalable, and business continuity.
ITserv Technology, which evaluates the Bilfen’s legacy infrastructure platform HPE c7000 Blade Chassis, HPE 3PAR 7200c products in DRC environment, placed 4 Hyper-Converged HPE Simplivity products in the production data center environment in the Fault Domain scenario (cabin redundancy) to solve high-availability, performance needs and capacity problems that arise especially during periods of high school enrollment and to save operation time. In this way, it reduces the backup time of existing virtual servers to less than 1 minute and provides a safer structure for business continuity without any loss of performance.
After the implementation of the project, installation, configuration, and management processes that took days or even weeks in traditional architectures were achieved in just 4-5 days with HPE SimpliVity hyper-Integrated Systems.
Hours of report retrieval from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have been reduced to minutes, reducing the problem-solving time of infrastructure managers.
Currently, all backup operations can be completed in less than 1 minute, while previously backup of large virtual servers is started only after business hours due to performance problems and takes hours. Back-up can be done in less than 1 minute.
Storing received backups saves storage space with HPE SimpliVity’s compression and deduplication features, and backups can be stored longer.
In traditional systems, planned maintenance and update processes are planned separately and performed over long periods of time, while in HPE SimpliVity, these processes can be completed very simply and in a short time.
